Finding story in his subjects, Thomas carefully seeks out the most elegant light and shadow in the environments he finds himself. Then drawing out personalities and characters, he documents people's real nature giving a candid and thoughtful feeling to his work.
For each commission, he challenges himself to capture honest images in answer to a specifically constructed commercial brief.
Thomas finds moments in the constant flux of life, the points in time that resonate with a viewer. Working organically, preferring natural or available light each project becomes an unfolding discovery as he documents experience.
